    Robert Kingsley is President of RPX Insurance Services, President of RPX Risk Retention Group, and Senior Vice President of Insurance Operations for RPX Corporation.

    Mr. Kingsley has worked in and around the insurance industry for more than 25 years. His experience includes building a regional commercial insurance company for more than a decade, running the commercial division of a large general agency, holding interim and turnaround management positions at commercial insurers, and consulting for insurance operators and entities considering investments in insurance operations.

    Mr. Kingsley earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at American University in Washington, DC, and his MBA from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Rochester.

  • Paul Scola

    Paul Scola brings to RPX more than 18 years of business development, new product development, and product marketing experience at high-growth, early- to mid-stage companies.

    Most recently, Mr. Scola was responsible for consumer services revenue and strategy at Support.com. He was instrumental in launching the consumer division into the retail, consumer electronic, and digital service provider segments including branded product lines at Office Depot, Sony, and Comcast. Prior to that, he developed new software and services solutions for VitesseLearning, where he led an expansion into financial services with a focus on retail banking, mortgage lending, and insurance at JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Pacific Life, and Prudential. Earlier in his career, Mr. Scola managed business development for consumer Internet companies focused on search, categorization, and E-commerce.

    Mr. Scola earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Middlebury College.

  • Scott Turkow

    Scott Turkow is Vice President of RPX Insurance Services’ partner network and global sales operations. Mr. Turkow is responsible for expanding the RPX insurance business through insurance broker partnerships.

    Mr. Turkow joined RPX after 13 years in the technology sector, with most of that time spent scaling software startups. He previously held the position of Executive Director, Partner and Sales Operations for Mformation, a leading provider of mobile security and IoT solutions. Prior to Mformation, Mr. Turkow held senior management positions at two companies that had successful acquisitions: Opalis, acquired by Microsoft, and Integrien, acquired by VMware. Earlier in his career, he worked for EMC in an operations capacity. He also ran various sales and marketing engagements for some of the biggest names in the technology industry while at MarketOne International.

    Mr. Turkow earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and International Business from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

    Prior to joining RPX, Mr. Scott was a founder and Co-Managing Partner of Pluritas LLC, a leading patent brokerage and IP investment banking advisory firm. During his tenure at Pluritas, he helped complete over 35 patent assignment transactions for corporate, VC, and individual inventor clients.

    Prior to founding Pluritas, Mr. Scott was the Vice President of Investor Strategy at Garage Technology Ventures, a venture capital investment bank. As the first employee of Garage, he was responsible for building Garage’s relationships with over 3,000 venture capital, corporate, and individual investors. In addition, Mr. Scott was a key advisor to senior management teams of over 40 software, wireless, infrastructure, and telecom startup businesses, and helped raise over $150 million for these companies.

    Previously, Mr. Scott was a consultant for several Internet and software companies including Peapod, Macromedia, and Perceptual Robotics Inc. He was a Kauffman Foundation Intern at Evanston Business Investment Corp, a seed venture capital firm which invests in technology startups. Prior to business school, Mr. Scott was a Marketing Manager for a sports marketing firm in Hong Kong, and a General Manager at a food brokerage and distribution company in Seattle.

    He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University, and an MBA from the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

  • Andrew Zakem

    Andrew Zakem brings to RPX 20 years of sales leadership experience in the technology and financial services sectors.

    Prior to joining RPX, Mr. Zakem was Vice President, Global Agency Sales at Marin Software, having joined as a founding member of the sales team and helped lead the company from pre-revenue to a successful IPO. In that capacity, Mr. Zakem and his team were responsible for building the program to sell to and service the world’s largest media agencies, securing 25% of Marin Software’s new bookings and half of its total revenue.

    Mr. Zakem previously served as a naval officer leading Engineering and Combat Systems divisions in shipboard operations in the Red Sea, Northern Indian Ocean, and Persian Gulf.

    He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, with General Engineering core curriculum, from the US Naval Academy in Annapolis.

  • Roberta Aufranc

    Roberta Aufranc directs client development for the Eastern region of the United States, focusing on driving sales through the insurance broker network.

    Ms. Aufranc has worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years, the majority of it on the the underwriting side of the Property and Casualty industry. She primarily managed underwriting operations for mid-sized and large corporations at both the regional and national level, first for Zurich Insurance and later at Crum & Forster.

    Ms. Aufranc earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Drexel University.

  • Landon O’Hara

    Landon O’Hara directs operations and the broker distribution network for the Southwest region of the United States. In his nearly 20 years of insurance industry experience before joining RPX, Mr. O’Hara served as AIG’s Industry Practice Group Officer for the US and Canada. He also held the position of Vice President of AIG Sales and Marketing, overseeing both corporate and national accounts for the Los Angeles region. For Aon’s Environmental Services Group, Mr. O’Hara served as Senior Vice President and West Region Team Leader.

    Prior to his time on the brokerage side, Mr. O’Hara was the Regional Manager for Quanta Environmental for the Southern and Midwest zones. He started his insurance career with AIG in its Environmental Group.

    Mr. O’Hara earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Archaeology and Anthropology from Baylor University and his law degree from Hamline University School of Law.

  • William Jiang

    William Jiang manages client development for RPX Insurance Services. Prior to joining RPX, Mr. Jiang was a commercial insurance broker in Willis Towers Watson’s complex property group. He completed the Marsh and McLennan’s Producer Training program where he learned and applied classroom and real-time commercial insurance sales leadership and technique to his assigned territory in the San Francisco Bay Area.

    Mr. Jiang earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
